In 1890 Miguel Soler manufactured taps for wine barrels in a small metal workshop near Barcelona, in the municipality of Manresa. Over the years, as a result of the commitment and perseverance that he shared with his partner, Castellà, he extended production to sanitary fittings and industrial valves, until he included complete lines of fittings for bathrooms, kitchens, large showers and hydrotherapy.
In 1929, the firm participated in the Barcelona Universal Exhibition receiving the Gold Medal for Industrial Merit. This fact was a great boost, the preamble of what was to come in the coming decades.
The 60s, a golden decade in which the firm reached its peak with the launch of the “Joya; a revolutionary faucet for its design developed from jewelery techniques that achieved unprecedented success, making it a classic and marking the beginning of a new era for the firm.
At the end of the 1980s, Ramon Soler launched his first single-lever mixer, Solemix. That same year, 1987, the firm received the EUROFAMA 2000 Award, which each year selected the most outstanding company within each sector, based on technical studies on prestige, service, image and product quality.
Ramon Soler launches its Aquasol-Lux, Rasgo and Super Mix collections, a series of mixer taps made entirely of metal, with characteristic designs that set trends at the time and still work perfectly in the bathrooms of some homes.
The firm launches the first thermostatic faucet, and calls it Termosol. The first of many models of thermostatic faucets that already had mechanisms to control the temperature in a comfortable and safe way for the user.
Ramon Soler collaborates with Swarowski and launches the Iliada Swarowski series, a two-handle faucet that incorporates crystals cut especially for this collection in its hands. A tandem in perfect combination between the studied design and high technology of Ramon Soler with the added value provided by this well-known jewelry firm.
It also launches the Cartuja CJ series, a series in which the firm is committed to tradition and joins forces with the prestigious firm La Cartuja de Sevilla to reissue a timeless classic, the Gaudi model. Lastly, that same year he launched the Mithos series, an original collection whose handle had a handle made of wood.
Ramon Soler launches three of his most remarkable design collections, which we can see in the firm's current catalogs in their most current versions.
Ypsilon, an elegant and ergonomic collection. RS-Cross, the most avant-garde twin-handle collection, with cross-shaped hands. And Âtica, a series of exclusive design, representing the purest minimalism. Blautherm, the bath-shower set that has become the favorite of users in their homes, was also launched in the same year.
Ypsilon Plus, a collection that transmits touch with a lot of sense, and Titanium, a collection with industrial aesthetics and efficient functionality, arrive on the market.

In 2018 Ramon Soler® won the XI Nan Prize for Architecture and Construction in the Sanitaryware, Kitchens, Taps and Accessories category. An award given in recognition of the Ultra Slim hydrotherapy sprays, at just 2mm thick.
In 2019 the Tzar collection sees the light, an avant-garde faucet with a minimalist design, this collection available in 3 different heights. With this new collection, the new special finishes are also launched this year – matte black, brushed gold and brushed nickel – latest trend finishes with maximum durability.
Urban Chic, a new collection with a waterfall outlet, through the Tourbillon system patented by Ramon Soler® and a modern aesthetic, merges our most human desires to enjoy nature with our urban habitat. It arrived stomping and was awarded the international IF DESIGN AWARD 2020 award.
Ramon Soler continues to innovate and in 2021 launches the Magnet Kitchen collection of kitchen taps, once again receiving the 2021 iF Design Award in the product category. Magnet Kitchen stands out for including an innovative system of neodymium magnets, which allows the spout to return to its initial position with ease, when its use is finished.
The New Fly collection also hits the market, a series of taps with an avant-garde aesthetic and a design that facilitates the natural position of the hand on its control.
Urban Chic leads design and innovation. The collection that fuses the human being nature desires with its urban habitat, was awarded with the iF Design Award in 2020. It is recognized once again with the German Design Awards 2022 which pays tribute to consistent design conception and implementation. Urban Chic receives the special mention for excellence in PRODUCT DESIGN in the BATH & WELLNESS category for its models in black matte, brushed gold, and brushed nickel finishes of high quality and resistance.
